Well, My SWD 'Cobray' mac 11 has these funky triangular shaped mags. You cant use cheap and plentiful sten mags in this one. Those are more rectangle shaped. I bought it in 9mm because its cheaper to shoot it but most of the ammo I find is supersonic (it came with a suppressor) and it kinda sounds like a.22 about 30 ft in front of the gun. The only 147 gr. Thats subsonic has these funky hollowpoints and it only comes in pretty, colorful, eye catching label in a jewel like plastic box for $20 for 20 rds. By federal I think.

I have no interest in paying for fancy packaging. I would rather they sell them by the 50 rd pack at least in a plain old military looking drab brown cardboard box with the caliber and weight stamped on the side. What other things are you looking for? Have you talked with a class III to see how much he wants for the transfer? Will your CLEO sign? When I started looking for something full auto, I was going to go with either the FNC or AC556 because I couldn't afford most other stuff.

I dismissed the Macs as bullet hoses - until I was told about the Max-11. I bought an M11/9 and got on the waiting list for the Lage upper. Oh, it's more than 2 months - I got on the list on April 5 at position #95. My upper is in the next batch to go out which is still a few weeks away. I was initially told 12-14 weeks - I'm in week 14 now.

Not complaining, just saying that if you even think you want one go ahead and get on the list. There's no money down and no obligation to buy when the upper is ready if you change your mind. I have a MAC 10 setup in.45,9mm, and.22. My weapon is a MAC/SWD gun. Its a real bullet hose, and WAY too much fun!

I use M3 Guide Lamp (Grease Gun) mags in.45 (unmodified), and the classic, expensive m10/9 mags in.9mm. I have an old Flemming.22 conversion kit for it that uses Ruger 10/22 mags. After a year, I am still on the waiting list for the MAC 10 uppers from Lage. Im # 100, so I hope I can actually get the.45 upper in the next couple of months. He's just about ready to begin production on the.45's and I believe he's just about there for the 9mm as well.

Aug 21, 2012  The 22 kits is cheaper to purchase and allows me to shoot the much cheaper 22lr rounds, but the lage kit make the gun look much better and I am told handle better as well. Any one have an opinion. Jan 19, 2012 #3. Practical solutions has the coffe freak slow fire bolts which are well liked and may not be available in a year. GSL was the back end mfg for gemtech up until like 2016 and they still sell the mac suppressors. CFW bolt and the alamo adapter for use with lage uppers if you can get the bolt 22 kit with dedicated upper. Home / MAC Machine Gun Parts / M11/9 Machine Gun Parts. After that he's going to do his.22 kits. The Mac in a slow-fire configuration would be the most fun out of all the SMG's.

The Uzi is a really good gun, but doesn't have the capabilities (the score of accessories and mods) the MAC does. The MP5 cant go.45, and.22 kits are rare and expensive - not to mention that unless your a Mass-tort lawyer, and make a gazillion in fees every year, your probably not going to be able to afford the MP5 or the M16 or even the UZI. The MAC Is the best out of all worlds.

'The MAX-10 receivers were formed today. Will start welding tommorow.

The MAX-11s and MAX-10s are in production together right now.' He is currently building 10 in 45 and 10 in 9mm as the first run. I won't have to sell my soul to any Bar Association to do so. I have a max 10 45 upper from Mr. Lage and I love it. Finished out very well and works great. I just lined up the set screws which happened to be just right where the viper bottomed out but I suppose you could get a longer set screw if you happen to wind up on a 'flat' spot on the barrel. Go ahead and dimple where the set screws engage and use loc-tite. I've shot about 1500 rounds through my factory upper and the suppressor has never backed off yet.

With the Lage unit on my mac I can dump a whole mag into the target and just get one large ragged hole. Mine seems to be shooting slower than advertised but I think it is just because it needs to be broken in.
